The USS Manley (DD-940) business meeting was called to order at 1400, May 3, 2000. New Business Joe Dennison, reunion planner, discussed the implementation of a quarterly newsletter in the near future. A call was made for volunteers to take a position on a committee to plan and execute future reunions. Larry Lutz and Don LaRue volunteered their services. The reunion planner briefly discussed the location for the next reunion and those present decided to yield to his decision. Adjournment Their being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1500.

The USS Manley (DD-940) Association logo (left) was approved and
adopted by the Board of Directors following the meeting in
Baton Rouge. It is not meant to replace the Manley's
original emblem shown here to the right; but instead, express only
the intent of the organization: pride in our service to Country
and the U.S. Navy.
